I’m often asked about my journey as an author and what happens behind the scenes in my London studio. Here are the answers to your most frequent questions:
Q: How long have you been writing romance? A: I’ve been a storyteller since I was five! I always knew I wanted to be an author, and I’ve been a devoted romance reader since my teenage years.
Q: Where do you find your best writing inspiration? A: I’m hugely inspired by movies and TV series from all over the world. I also love listening to podcasts to learn about real people’s life stories. It helps me make my characters feel more human.
Q: What is your actual writing process like? A: I’m definitely a “cave dweller!” I’m happiest writing in my little writing cave in the basement of my home. It’s where all the magic happens.
Q: How do you handle the pressure of being a bestselling author? A: I’ve been called tenacious and persistent, but I’m also learning to be kind to myself. To “fill my well,” I head outdoors. I love trees, flowers, and being in nature.
Q: Do you actually read your reader’s emails? A: I really do! I love, love hearing from my readers by email and on social media. Hanging out with children and answering their curious questions is another favorite way I stay connected and inspired.
