How to Whitelist my email address

Please follow these instructions to ensure my emails land in your inbox.

If you use Gmail, keep reading as I’ll provide step-by-step instructions on this page.

For non-Gmail users:
If you’re using Outlook, AOL, Proton Mail or  any email client other than Gmail, visit whitelist.guide and choose your email provider.

Gmail Whitelist Instructions

The only foolproof way to whitelist a sender is to follow these instructions from a browser (the instructions won’t work if you use the Gmail smartphone app).

1- Open your favorite browser (like Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, etc.), visit gmail.com, and login.

2- Find an email from me (laxmi@authorlsteele.com).

3- Click the three dots in the right-hand corner and create a filter that categorizes the sender’s emails as belonging in the Primary inbox.

4- Make sure the “From” line says “laxmi@authorlsteele.com” and click “Create filter.”

5- Check “Never send to Spam,” Categorize the email as “Primary,” check “Also apply filters to matching conversation(s),” and click “Create filter” again.

That’s it!

Thanks for taking the time to whitelist my email address.
